Vacation Bible School – Summer Fun for Everyone!

Mark your calendars now and REGISTER ONLINE for this summer’s Vacation Bible School with a twist,  evenings, July 18-21.

This year’s theme is The Great Commandments, based on Mark 12:30-31.  What’s the twist?  It’s not just for the kids!  We’ll meet Sunday through Wednesday evenings, July 18-21, to share a meal at 6 pm followed by programming for kids AND adults from 6:30 to 7:30.  We’ll be focusing on loving God with all our hearts, souls, minds, and strengths, and on loving our neighbors as ourselves.

Watch for more details in the coming weeks.  If you’d like to help out on one or more nights, please contact the office, office@fpcusa.org.

Starting Sunday, Fairlington will be hosting a series of new member orientation classes after worship for those who are interested in a new connection to our church.  Any church community is like a family – there are responsibilities, commitments and benefits in interacting as one body in Christ.  We welcome you to join us after worship for these sessions and learn more about our church and becoming a member.

The schedule for new member orientation is as follows:

  • Sun., Mar. 14: 12:30 – 1:30 on Belonging – What it means to be a member of FPC
  • Sun., Mar. 21: 12:30 – 1:30 on Behaving – Ways our church serves God
  • Sun., Mar. 28: 12:30 – 1:30 on Believing – Ways our faith can help in these changing times
  • Sun., Apr. 4 – Easter – Introduction as a new member of the church

Check out the Harvest Schedule. Summer shares are $440 for the season. Consider splitting your share with a friend or neighbor.

CSA offers a wide range of produce with a balanced mix of vegetables every week!
